Today is Earth Day – a day for celebrating the wonder that is our planet, but also a stark reminder that we have a duty to protect and preserve it for generations to come. At Charles Tyrwhitt, we’re committed to Doing Things Properly, and our shirt donation scheme is no different! It's been in full swing since 2021, and we've now added suits so you can help us raise even more money for the British Heart Foundation and prevent even more waste - that's a big win-win in our books.

Here's how it works

Bring your old suits, jackets, and shirts to us in-store and we’ll give you £5 off a new shirt and 20% off a new suit.

We'll send them to the British Heart Foundation, where they'll be sold in their stores to fund life-changing research.

To date, we’ve raised over £2.5 million through this scheme and the donation of other pre-loved items. This year, with your help, we know we can do even better!

So far we've saved over 54 tonnes of clothing from landfill. That's over 240,000 individual items - the same weight as 9 African elephants!
