The Adventure Challenge x The Gottman Institute - Week 2 - better connection starts with better questions - According to the Gottman’s research, knowing little things about your partner’s life creates a strong foundation for friendship and intimacy.  They call this “building love maps.”

This week's challenge is simple: Find a few minutes to sit together and take turns asking and answering these questions. Discover something new about your partner!

1. What is something you are proud that you accomplished in the past year? 2. If you could create your own holiday, what would it be and how would you celebrate it? 3. Share about a moment or experience that seemed insignificant at the time, but later you realized was impactful? 4. What’s one fear that would significantly change your life if you overcame it? 5. How has our relationship helped you to grow as an individual?

There are three different ways to respond to a bid. Turning towards (acknowledging the bid) Turning away (ignoring or missing the bid) Turning against (rejecting the bid in an argumentative or belligerent way)
