North Sails powered Maxi Edmond de Rothschild wins in a commanding performance
GITANA TEAM WINS INAUGURAL ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE |
The first ever non-stop solo round the world race, the ARKEA Ultim Challenge, has been won convincingly by the Gitana Team. Skippered single-handed by Charles Caudrelier, the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild - a 32-meter Ultim trimaran - completed its non-stop circumnavigation in 50 Days, 19 Hours, 7 Minutes, 42 Seconds. |

With North Sails Performance foul weather gear on his back, Charles never stopped pushing forward, consistently extending the solid lead he found early in the race. His dominating display is an incredible accomplishment. |

The open ocean is unforgiving and unpredictable and Maxi Edmund de Rothchild trusted North 3Di to power their circumnavigation. These sails drove Charles straight across the finish line with more speed and power than the competition. |
