The Keap Team is back in the studio after a restful break … except for Harry, who is enjoying a few more days of a well-deserved trip, which is why you’re hearing from me today!
We’re excited to share more about what’s in store for Keap in 2024 in the coming weeks (like the new subscriber accoutrement some of you may be receiving soon!), but in the meantime, we wanted to share a bit about the plan we thought you might be most curious about: Our 2024 Seasonal Scent Calendar. So without further ado:

Not a subscriber? We have Limited Releases of the previous month’s scent if we have leftover inventory, so you may still be able to snatch your favorite scent. Read more about how these releases work and what your purchasing options are here.
If you don’t see your favorite scent above, fear not! Isle of Jasmine, Canyons, and Reading Room will be back. While historically we’ve announced the lineup for the entire new year in January, this year, we are leaving some flexibility in the second half of the year in hopes of a new seasonal scent. 🤞
We’ll be sure to let you know when we lock in their return dates, and in the meantime, you can always find the latest on the Scents page on our website (which lives in the “About” menu).
Cheers to a new year, — Suzanne from Keap, Storytelling Lead

"I went to dinner with a friend on Friday night and went to the bathroom to wash my hands before we ordered. I opened the door and paused. ‘Damn it smells good in here!’ I thought.
It was immediately followed by ‘God, that smells familiar,’ and then I proceeded to wash my hands. While drying them, the shape of the candle vessel caught my eye when LO AND BEHOLD! It was Wood Cabin burning in the corner.
I came out of the bathroom and turned to my friend and went, ‘Did you notice how delicious it smells in the bathroom?’ and he went, ‘You mean because it smells like your apartment?’ and I laughed.
I dig running into Keap in the wild and friends associating the scent with me / my home.”

“These days we aren’t so restricted by the seasons. We can travel to tropical climes to escape the winter, we can eat strawberries all year round, and we don’t have to chop wood to heat our homes. But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t make our own rituals and rhythms to ground us and connect us with the season.”
You can find these words of wisdom and more about cocktails as an act of care in Al Culliton’s inaugural recipe from our 2022 cocktail series: Janus.
We also recommend Ignis, a hot toddy variation designed to be a fireplace in a cup and to compliment the earthiness of this month’s Wild Figs scent.

We were honored to be able to be a sponsor for Kingston Land Trust’s Year End Celebration last month. You can learn more about their work here and consider helping them reach their fundraising goal of $30,000 by February 19 for the acquisition of the acreage (pictured above) for their Land in Black Hands program.
