It would have been impossible for me to predict at the onset that the winning entry of our photo contest would feature an arena of citrus spectators, raptly watching two sumo oranges compete on a demerara sugar dohyō. Yet it is also true that I expected no less from this amazingly creative group. :)
I hope you all enjoyed this celebration of creativity as much as we did! You can now see all our valid submissions posted here.

Grand Prize Winner:
A CITRUS GATHERING (A SUMO ORANGE MATCH)
By Helen in support of American Farmland Trust

Congratulations to longtime Keaper Helen for the excellent winning entry, and to all our finalists, participants, and voters for making this one to remember. Helen will receive a yearlong candle subscription. In addition, her chosen nonprofit, American Farmland Trust (AFT), will receive a $400 donation.
This gives me the opportunity once again to highlight AFT’s incredible work, centered on the belief that farmland nurtures our spirits and souls. Their work aims to stop the loss of farmland in America through advancing farmland protection and regenerative farming practices, helping existing farmers stay in business, and supporting farming opportunities for a new generation of farmers, including women, people of color and under-represented groups.
Thank you to all who participated in this event. What do you think we should do for our next game?
Playfully yours,
— Harry from Keap, Steward-Owner

Happy 6-year Keapiversary to David in Chicago, Kirill in Brooklyn, and to my very own sister, London! Love you! 🎂
And a warm welcome to new Keapers Michelle, Bobby, Allyson, Judith and Gretchen! It’s great to have you with us. 🤗
The plant health article from 2020 I mentioned above teleported me back to one of our scariest times as a company, and reminded me that we came out of it thanks to the incredible support of our subscribers during those months where NY was on pause. We wouldn’t be here without all of you, and we continue to appreciate the support from our incredible community of Keapers. 🙏
